Namaste, I'm Sabrina Calli

I didn’t come to nervous system regulation because it was trendy. I came to it because my life depended on it. Years of chronic stress and living in constant hustle-and-go mode left my body depleted and dangerously out of balance. After surviving a life-threatening illness and walking out of the hospital, I had a very sobering realization: I’d been living in survival mode for decades. Even my so-called 'healthy' habits were causing extra stress on my body. I didn't know how to rest or slow down without exhausting myself to fatigue. I knew I couldn’t physically continue this way... something had to change, but how? I didn't know yet. But it wasn't a lack of will.

A few years later I travelled to to India, feeling completely lost, jaded, and a little broken inside, it finally clicked just how stressed my body truly was. I was in the midst of a 300hr life-changing yoga teacher training, learning some new nervous system regulation techniques, and it hit me like a giant wave of inner knowing. My shoulders dropped, my mind slowed, and my body softened. For the first time ever, I actually felt what deep peace feels like. Whoa. What a relief. I was blown away, in the best way. Denial ain’t just a river! ;) From that moment I realized how stressed my body actually was, how shot my Nervous System actually was. From that moment I understood that I had to slow the F down - in a big way - and re-learn how to feel calm and safe in my body again - but this time, I knew exactly how. The answer was deep nervous system regulation practices from the Himalayan Kundalini tradition, combined with consistent yoga and meditation, everything began to shift… and surprisingly fast.

Those who know me know I haven’t always been this calm, or even-tempered. This work taught my body (not just my mind) how to feel safe, regulate, rest, digest and receive… in time with these practices my sleep and digestion have improved drastically, things don't bother me the same way, and I often feel the spaciousness to respond instead of react. Because of my own deep transformation, I feel called to help and guide others, using through the same practices that quite literally gave me my life back.
